"ON SITE"

An Artistic Challenge designed to exercise and expand creative thought, "On Site" is a temporary, experimental, environmental sculpture event open to artists residing in the state of Ohio. There is no entry fee - proposals are due by August 20. Up to five artists may be chosen to build their proposed work.

Details: * The site is a large, grassy area with mature trees * Works are placed throughout the site, (Hot Times reserves the right of placement) * The work must be safe and sturdy as the event attracts many children who like to interact with the art pieces * The works are not protected in the event of rain or wind and need to be designed to withstand early Fall weather conditions * No works may cause injury to the trees or grass * No works may include loose earth, fire or water (very messy for the clean up crew) * All artists selected to build their proposed works will receive a $50. Honoraria There is 24 hour a day security on the site however the Hot Times Festival it's organizers, fiscal agent, Director and Board are not liable for any damage to the work.
